We are excited to announce our partnership with We Care Act NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging students in community service and increasing social mobility.

We Care Act NYC and 4THBIN share a common goal of spreading awareness of e-waste and promoting healthy e-recycling habits among our communities in the New York area.

Despite New York City’s public school system being the largest in the United States, there is a significant digital divide amongst our students. More than 1.1 million students attend nearly 1,800 public schools administered by the New York City Department of Education and various charter programs. We believe that all 1.1 million students enrolled in the New York City school system should have the opportunity to experience top-quality education by learning hands-on with technological assets, and we strive to do our part in making this a reality.

At 4THBIN, we are committed to lessening the digital divide. Our 4THBIN 4GOOD program was established on the basis of wanting to help students from all walks of life reach their highest academic potential. Our partnership with We Care Act NYC has allowed us to further expand 4THBIN 4GOOD and provide high-quality technology assets to under-served and underprivileged students throughout New York City.

We provided We Care Act NYC with various tech devices, such as iPads and laptops, that have the ability to accelerate and transform the education of students throughout the five boroughs. Prior to handing over the devices to We Care Act, we ensured any data remaining on the devices was securely destructed, in typical 4THBIN style. We Care Act will then refurbish the machines and donate them to under-served youth around New York City, while sending back all unused or obsolete equipment to us at 4THBIN.

We believe the impact of technology has allowed learning to become more individualized and interactive. We are confident that our partnership with We Care Act NYC will not only enable students to acquire a deeper understanding of their curricular topics but also learn more about themselves and their unique, individual learning styles. It is an honor to help students local to our community, and we will continue to do our part in making a big impact.

If you would like to join us in making a big impact through our 4THBIN 4GOOD program, or simply learn more about the cause, please contact us.
