Join 4THBIN and the Lower East Side Ecology Center this fall for a series of free community e-waste recycling events across New York City.

From September through December 2026, NYC residents can bring unwanted electronics to convenient neighborhood collection events and give old devices a responsible second life. These community events make it easy to keep electronics and other recyclable materials out of the waste stream while supporting a cleaner, more sustainable New York City.

Whether you have an old laptop sitting in a closet, a drawer full of outdated cables, or electronics you no longer use, this is a great opportunity to clear them out responsibly.

Recycle Responsibly This Fall

Responsible electronics recycling helps recover valuable materials and keeps unwanted technology from being improperly disposed of. By bringing your old electronics to a community collection event, you can take a simple step toward reducing waste and supporting a more sustainable city.

4THBIN is proud to partner with the Lower East Side Ecology Center to make responsible electronics recycling more accessible to New Yorkers.

Check the LES Ecology Center calendar for the latest event details and location information before attending.

Happy Halloween!

To some, the spookiest part of Halloween may be the ghosts or vampires, but to us, it’s the plastic waste that is left behind.
